We are proud to offer the largest version of our custom-ordered Military Retirement Chest. We’ve taken the original military chest design and made it even bigger. This version is deeper, wider and longer to fit an even larger display on the lid.
This Military chest is made from solid wood, we use premium select pine, as it contains less knots and is smoother in texture. This version of the chest measures approximately 26” long x 15″ wide x 12” tall.
These measurements allows for the versions that include a 3” lid/flag display, another 2-3” shadow box to sit inside, and another 6 or so inches underneath to store other items.

CHEST VERSIONS
1️⃣ Original Chest
Perfect option includes a solid wooden chest, sanded and stained, personalized with the recipient’s rank/name, service component (Army, Navy, Coast Guard, Air Force and Marines!). All personalization listed below👇🏿 ⬇️ under “hardware” included.
2️⃣Chest with Flag Display on Lid
The next tier option includes the basic chest listed above, and includes a one or two flag displays embedded on the inside of the lid.
We add mounting felt on the inside of the lid so you can add ribbons, badges, placard, medals 🏅, pictures and more!
The entire flag display is encased behind plexiglass (shatter proof). You can easily remove the glass, fill the compartment and nail the glass back in place.
3️⃣Chest with Shadow Box
This version of the chest does not include a flag display on the lid, but it does add a shadowbox tray that sits flushed inside the chest.
The shadowbox is constructed of solid wood, and we include finishing nails for you to close after you’ve filled it with pictures, ribbons, medals or anything else you’d like to cherish the occasion.
The shadowbox is a great gift that can be displayed on a bookshelf, mantel, or hung on a wall (mounting hardware not included).
4️⃣ Complete Chest – includes Flag Displays AND Shadow Box
This version is the ultimate chest which includes all the bells and whistles. The chest includes a flag display in the inside lid. Choose between one or two flags – like a 3×5’ American Flag and a unit flag (like a Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard)

Shadow Box Tray
✅ The shadow box is wood stained and fits snugly inside the chest.
✅ We attach felt material over a thick, cushioned cardboard or cork to the inside/background of the shadow box so you can assemble your ribbons, patches, photos etc.
✅ The shadowbox is enclosed behind shatter-proof plexiglass.
✅ We include all the nails needed for you to close it.
