We’ve personalized our Toolbox chest by adding the recipient’s name on the outside.
This Wooden Toolbox-Styled chest is made from solid pine, and measures approximately 24″ long, by 12″ tall, and 12″ deep.
These measurements allow for a 2” display inside the lid. This is perfect for pinning ribbons, badges, pictures, patches and medals.
We’ve added a 2″ shallow top shelf, and lined it to protect the wood in case you want to use it as an actual toolbox.
Underneath that we added another deeper shelf, approximately 6″, to store larger items.
The chest is kept closed with sets of latches. The lid is held open with two repurposed and upcycled leather straps.
The tool chest is accented with gold hardware (hinges, box corners, latches, handles).
